Government of India (Ministry of Statistics & Program Implementation) is organizing a National Consultative Meet on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. The aim of the meet is to discuss the certification of Project Management professionals. This meet will be graced by the presence of some well known speakers like Sanjeevan Bajaj, CEO, FICCI and Pankaj Jain, Additional Secretary, MoSPI, Prof. Gautam Dutta, IIM Ahmedabad, Prof. Panjwani, MDI Gurgaon and many more. This meet will also witness the participation of some other prominent personalities which includes Raj Reddy, MD, Project Management institute (PMI).
The study on ‘Project Management Practices in India’ will also be released during this conference. Through its release PMI will emphasize on its primary goal which is to advance the practice, science and profession of project management throughout the world in a conscientious and proactive manner so that organizations everywhere will embrace, value and utilize project management and then attribute their successes to it.PMI was founded in 1969 by working project managers.
